A Memorial Garden was established at St. James in 1979 with the primary purpose of providing for the interment of ashes of members of St. James Church or their immediate families.
Those persons whose ashes are interred in the Garden are listed on individual cast bronze nameplates bearing their name, date of birth, and date of death.
Located along the North and East walls of the St. George Chapel, the Garden contains the ashes of 255 parishioners.
A Garden Committee consisting of parochial volunteers supervises basic Garden design, planting, and general maintenance
