Carpenter’s Club - Members provide hands-on housing rehabilitation and construction assistance in support of the Housing Assistance Corp.’s home repair program. While carpentry skills are a plus, a desire to help and to enjoy fellowship are the only requirements.

Daughters of the King - This group is an order for Episcopal women. Daughters pledge themselves to a lifelong program of prayer, service and evangelism, dedicated to the spread of Christ’s Kingdom and the strengthening of the spiritual life of the parish.

Hispanic Ministry at St. Mary’s - This is a ministry to the Spanish speaking community in the Diocese. It is located at La Capilla de Santa Maria, St. Mary’s Chapel, on Chimney Rock Highway.

Interfaith Assistance Ministry (IAM) - IAM is an ecumenical, non-profit community organization providing for the basic needs of Henderson County families. IAM maintains a food pantry and clothing closet. Assistance with utility bills, medical care, and rent is available, with the aim of leading families to independent living through training and counseling.

Holy Comforters - This group is a gathering of quilters who meet monthly to sew and to share jokes, joys, sorrows. The group sponsors an annual One-of-a-Kind Silent Auction, a fund raiser for Lake Logan, our diocesan conference center. They make quilts for a variety of other area agencies.

Knitters’ Guild - The Guild works on projects earmarked for local agencies and national relief efforts. Locally, members knit warm winter hats for all children in Head Start classes & blankets for agencies serving families with serious needs.

Transportation (VAN) - The St. James Van shuttles residents of retirement communities to Sunday services. Last year the van made two adult mission trips to the Gulf Coast and several trips with our youth groups.
