Outreach

Outreach Commission has initiated or facilitated a variety of hands-on community projects, using its regular parish budget and funds it raises for a number of charitable causes. The primary fundraiser is the annual Candlemas Concert.

African Medical Mission is an outreach mission established by our own Dr. Christopher McConnachie and his wife, Jenny, in 1981 to serve the demanding medical needs of the poor in the Transkei region of South Africa. Though Dr. McConnachie passed away in Nov. 2007, the work goes on. Our annual Walk for Africa raises substantial funds to assist Jenny in operating the Itipini Community Project.
