I have been a member of the clergy at St. James since February of 2015. I moved to Hendersonville from the Panhandle of Florida, where I served as the Rector of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Gulf Breeze for nearly five years. Before that, I was an Associate Rector at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Dallas, TX and Canon for Community Life at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC. At St. James, I oversee all pastoral care ministries and ministry with younger adults, along with preaching, teaching, leading retreats, pastoral counseling, and working with children and families.
My childhood was spent in Dallas, TX and Palo Alto, CA, and I attended college in Virginia, where I fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains. Before attending seminary, I lived and worked in Boston, MA. I hold a BA degree in Music and Vocal Performance from Sweet Briar College, a Master’s of Divinity from the Yale Divinity School, and the Certificate of Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale.
I love spending time with my dogs, reading, singing, exploring history of all kinds, and walking through the woods of North Carolina.
