I am a native of Henderson County where I was ordained as a Baptist minister after graduating from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC in 1991. I began my journey into the Episcopal Church in 2002. I started the process of ordination as an Episcopal deacon in 2005. I have served as a deacon at St. James since 2010. I am also the Chief Operations Officer at the Hendersonville Rescue Mission where I oversee the daily activity of their homeless shelters for men, women and children as well as their public feeding program, day center and medical clinic. I have served in ministry there since 2001. My wife, Kerry, and I were married in 1991. We live in Hendersonville and so do our two sons, Andrew and Perry. I am passionate about hiking, nature photography, public speaking and poetry.
