Born and raised in Batow, Florida, I hold a BSEd ('76) and MME ('89) from Western Carolina University. Retired from teaching elementary music and folk art in Henderson County Schools, I currently volunteer at Historic Johnson Farm and playing guitar with Sassafras, a local bluegrass band. I also enjoy quilting, reading, TV and traveling in my Mustang convertible.
I lead Allelu!, our contemporary/folk music group which rehearses on Wednesday nights at 5:15 and we lead music worship on 2nd Saturdays (5:00) and 5th Sundays (10:00).
