Youth Faith Formation

EYC (Episcopal Youth Community) - Ministry Leader: Christoph Herpel

The overall objective for St James EYC is to engage our youth with theological thinking that inspires them to be better servants of God. Our goal is to develop youth who don’t just talk about how what it means to follow God, but actually go out to make the world a better place. EYC meets every Sunday with youth in 6th-12th grade in the St James Parish Hall.

We offer TWO groups:

Our EYC Fun&Fellowship group meets from 3:00–5:00 PM. These times may change in the near future.

Our EYC Social Justice Group meets from 5:30–7:30 PM. These times may change in the near future.

The High School has Fall Conference in November and Spring Conference in March. Both Middle School and High School Youth are invited to attend Camp Henry in the Summer. St James also attends annually the diocesan SPLASH at Camp Ridgecrest, ski day at Cataloochee, and Lake Logan Festival.
